10 Reasons Why Some Men Should Marry Gold Diggers

In no particular order...

  1. Most men hate showing emotions and gold diggers couldn't care less how their men feel. Men don't want to talk much about their day and she doesn't give a damn how his day went anyway- unless it affects his job performance, which affects his paycheck.
  2. Some men come home from work and check out. They turn on the TV or hide out in the garage looking for ways to avoid interacting with family. If they marry a gold digger she won't ever be home when you get there anyway. She will be out shopping or screwing around and hubby can have the whole house to himself.
  3. She will always look good. At least in theory. If she's spending your money she better look like something. And if she looks good, you look good.
  4. She won't be clingy. Men seem to hate what they call 'clingy' women. Well with a gold digger you will not have to meet her emotional needs because she will surely be having them met somewhere else. She just needs your money.
  5. All men want to do is work and provide money. Everybody knows that a marriage takes more than just providing financially but for the special workaholic guy who wants a cookie for keeping the lights on and nothing else, the gold digger is just perfect. She gets excited when you get paid and that is all she actually needs and wants from you anyway. She actually hates it when you suggest a date night. That is unless your circle of friends includes other wealthy men. If not, you are wasting her time.
  6. Feeding that ego. If a man is flashy and likes to show off how much money he makes and how many cars he has, he needs to score himself a gold digger. She will spend his money making sure the home, cars, lawn and children are equipped with the best and most expensive of EVERYTHING.
  7. Keeping up appearances. A gold digger will be able to understand and appreciate a shallow man who is constantly paranoid of how he and his family are perceived. She can relate because she is the same way, too! That's why she spends so much money keeping up appearances.
  8. She will give him more reasons to work overtime. The workaholic husband will make work a priority in his life no matter what. He will use overtime as a way to avoid going home at the end of the day. By constantly spending cash and running up bills, the gold digging wife is actually doing her husband a service by giving him a legitimate reason to work so much. He won't have to lie anymore.
  9. She will keep his hands clean. Why make a Honey-Do list when you can just hire someone to do the simplest of repair tasks around the house. Husbands can't be bothered with this stuff and gold diggers understand this.
  10. She is on a lease. As soon as the money is gone, so is she. Her husband won't have to wonder how long he will suffer being trapped in a marriage. As soon as she is done bleeding him dry she will be on her merry little way. The perfect arrangement :)

This hub was purely for fun and laughs. There are tons of great guys out there who get a bad rap. I'm making light of stereotypes in relationships. It's all love.
